College & Career Center

Located in Room 11 and with the guidance of Mrs. Bryant, the College & Career Center is one of Buena Vista's valuable resources. Students take advantage of the desktop computers, books, and utilize the room for guest speakers, technology-driven lessons, or a personal space to catch up on work.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your interest in the PEP Scholarship. Our goal is to make education beyond high school financially accessible to all students in the City of Paramount. PEP is a collaborative effort between the City of Paramount, Paramount Unified School District, and the Paramount Chamber of Commerce.

 

We are proud to offer various scholarships: $1,000 for students attending a community college; $3,000 for students attending a California State University, including vocational/trade/technical schools; and $4,000 to students attending a University of California or an accredited private university. Scholarship monies may only be used to pay tuition, fees, books and supplies for the 2024-2025 school year. In order to be eligible to receive a scholarship, you must complete and submit all requested material in this application by the deadline date.

 

If you are awarded the PEP Scholarship, you are required to cash your check; otherwise, you are at risk of forfeiting your award. Also, please understand that this money is awarded to you by the Paramount Education Partnership, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.
