What is a Freagle?

 

A Freagle comes from the two words: Free & Eagle. With the guidance of Mr. McCullough and various other volunteers, students are encouraged to go on field trips to local sites and locations, FREE OF CHARGE. Some of our favorites involve beaches, hiking, and as always EATING! These field trips help build a sense of connection between students, staff, and our community. One 18-year-old student said, "This is my first time on the beach. ANY beach." This shows how crucial this program is to our students and how important it is to expose yourself to new experiences to be a lifelong learner.
